Interactive Media Specialist

The Wisconsin Educational Communications Board (ECB) seeks a team member to support the effective use of interactive multimedia materials for PK-12 teachers and students.

Responsibilities include: Assisting ECB instructional program project leaders and developers in planning and creating interactive multimedia materials for classroom use; conducting research on digital technology applications for education with an eye towards new and emerging technologies; developing new educational applications and resources for ECB’s web site; and supervising the promotions and publications of the ECB.

Qualifications:
  1. Education or work experience in a related multimedia/technology field;
  2. Knowledge of current educational technology multimedia resources as well as new and emerging digital technology applications such as datacasting;
  3. Experience in project management and planning from conception to completion;
  4. Experience in developing or assisting in the creation of resources for print or web delivery; 5) Strong oral, computer and written communications skills;
  5. Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in a creative team environment;
  6. supervisory and/or teaching experience and a knowledge of datacasting technology helpful but not required.
Pay is 42,000 to 50,000 depending on qualifications, plus an excellent fringe benefit package. Apply with a detailed resume and a paper limited to two pages describing the depth and scope of your training and experience relating to items 1-4 in the qualifications section.
