Interactive Media Specialist
The Wisconsin Educational Communications Board (ECB) seeks a team member to support the effective use of interactive multimedia materials for PK-12 teachers and students.
Responsibilities include: Assisting ECB instructional program project leaders and developers in planning and creating interactive multimedia materials for classroom use; conducting research on digital technology applications for education with an eye towards new and emerging technologies; developing new educational applications and resources for ECB’s web site; and supervising the promotions and publications of the ECB.
Qualifications:
- Education or work experience in a related multimedia/technology field;
- Knowledge of current educational technology multimedia resources as well as new and emerging digital technology applications such as datacasting;
- Experience in project management and planning from conception to completion;
- Experience in developing or assisting in the creation of resources for print or web delivery; 5) Strong oral, computer and written communications skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in a creative team environment;
- supervisory and/or teaching experience and a knowledge of datacasting technology helpful but not required.
