For files with the code R (stands for Remix) in the filename, you may also edit and incorporate the media into teacher and student projects for educational purposes.

You may download these images and animations to an unlimited number of individual workstations or portable media devices or to a school server or network. You may incorporate this media in your lessons or educational presentations, and you may allow students to incorporate this media in their school projects. Retention rights (how long media may be kept)

• SY = School-year rights
  Media can be saved and viewed repeatedly over the course of a given school year. They may be retained and viewed in subsequent years only if ECB continues to include the media in our list of offerings. Visit ecb.org each May to find a list of the discontinued media.
• EXT = Extended-use rights
  Media can be saved and viewed repeatedly as long as it meets curricular needs.

Permitted uses (what can be done with digital media)

• D = Desktop rights
  Media can be stored for later use only on the computer to which it was downloaded.
• S = Share
  Media can be downloaded and transferred to other computers and servers.
• R = Remix
  Media can be edited and incorporated into teacher and student projects for educational purposes.

Soundzabound Music and Audio Files
The Soundzabound™ Music Library may be used by educators and students in the state of Wisconsin solely for school-related or school-supported activities and functions, including school fundraisers, within the school community. Soundzabound Music files may be loaded to any number of machines, computers and digital music players so long as they are the property of a school or personal possession of a student, teacher or administrator of a Wisconsin school entity. Educators may also duplicate and sell their finished products for profit which contain Soundzabound Music, so long as it is within their educational realm, and not for personal or business profit and purposes.
