In this episode, Haley, Lily, and Trent see the importance of rules in everyday life. Haley and Lily begin playing a game of chess, which requires them to learn the rules of the game. In the meantime, Trent is told that in order to go on an upcoming field trip, he must follow the rules in order to obtain permission from his parents.
