EPISODE DESCRIPTION:
Haley, Lily, and Trent start to understand that everyone has rights - even a bully. In this episode, Haley and Lily are pushed around by the local playground bully while Trent does nothing to help his friends. After discussing their disappointment with Trent, our three friends witness the bully being bullied. In the end, Haley, Lily, and Trent learn that no one deserves to be bullied and everyone has the right to feel safe. This episode also explores three real-life situations where kids are protecting their rights as citizens.
B.B. Guns and Ice Cream Trucks — Ice Cream trucks in Modesto, California, are selling B.B. guns to kids. Once the kids at Fairview Elementary School found out, they made it their mission to stop the selling of B.B. guns to preserve their right to be safe at school and at home.
Bully Busters — In order to stop the bully problem at their school, students at
Emerson Elementary School are learning how to watch out for each other and stop kids from being bullied.
Putnam Blue Planet Club — Bryce Johnson and his classmates are making sure
their right to a clean environment is preserved by creating a club that makes the
environment their #1 priority.
