The Hometown Stories Web site's offer educational materials useful for teachers throughout the state of Wisconsin. Designed in collaboration with a group of educators from each specific area, these resources include streaming video, photo libraries, lesson plans, and other cross-curricular materials to help Wisconsin educators meet and exceed the Model Academic Standards. This multimedia instructional package, a
10-program video series, CD-ROM, and teacher guide about the cultural heritage and diversity of Wisconsin, focuses on the present day. (Designed for grades 4 through 6) Web site
This 12-part video series features a host who travels across the state to solve mysteries about Wisconsin history. Maps, photos, old film, diaries, oral history, artifacts, re-enactments, and the landscape help students learn more about Wisconsin's past. Student-written "History Mysteries" are featured on the site.
Explore Wisconsin geography with this award-winning 14-program video series
for fourth-grade students. The Web site provides geography links, activities for students and maps
to download for classroom use.

Designed to support fourth- and fifth-grade study of Wisconsin history and culture, this
15-minute instructional television program was recorded in digital format for eventual use on high-definition television (HDTV). It also is broadcast in analog format, enabling current television sets to receive it. The Web site includes video clips from the powwow not included in the TV program, an interactive map of Wisconsin tribes, and more. Visit the Web site
