WHAT IS TEACHER PREVIEW WEEK?

We listen to teachers!

Wisconsin is one of only a few states that integrate teacher input extensively into its selection of instructional programming. The ECB's annual Teacher Preview Event (formerly ITV PreView) invites Wisconsin's K-12 teachers to review and vote on the instructional television programming proposed for next year's line-up.

Complete sample programs of the series under consideration are broadcast during the Previews period in mid-November.  Short clips of these programs are also made available online at that time. You can help select next year’s program line up!

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?

Participation is easy!
Just watch the selected programs that air during Teacher Preview week, or watch clips online.

The balloting period is now closed. Check back this fall to vote on new programs.

Vote!
Once you've watched the program during Teacher Preview Week, vote for programs online.
Your input will be tabulated and provided to committees of educators who make recommendations about the instructional television broadcast schedule.

Additions to and deletions from the line-up will be available on our Interconnect 2.0 during May.

Get Involved!

If your school is a member of your regional educational telecommunications area, or if you are interested in becoming a member, contact your Regional Liaison. In addition to other benefits, you have the opportunity to become part of a Teacher Advisory Committee. These committees are made up of teachers like you, and give you the chance to encourage positive growth and change for your school and schools around the state.

From selecting Teacher Week PreView programming to providing suggestions and feedback for
the Regional Liaisons and the ECB, Teacher Advisory Committees are a great way to get involved.
