Electronic Submission
Now you can submit your Sound~Waves entries electronically!
There are two steps to this process:
- Submit electronic files by going to: http://dropbox.yousendit.com/ECB, fill out the required information and upload your entry.
- In the subject line, type the 'Program Title'.
- On the message line, type your name and school.
- Upload your file and click “Send it”.
- Open the document, save it to your local computer, fill out all the information requested.
- The name of the entry should be mentioned
clearly under “Program Title”
(This is the only way we can match your electronic entry to you!) - Follow instructions given to fill out the entry form.
- Send an email to asubramanian@ecb.state.wi.us with the completed entry form attached
to the email. - Alternately, you can print out the entry form document, fill out all the information and
mail it to:Educational Communications Board

Entries may be either an individual or group production. Each program must be produced by students in the grade-level category for which the program is entered.
(Grade-level categories are: 3-5, 6-8, 9-12.)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Each entry must have an adult sponsor.
- The maximum program lengths are 1 minute for PSAs and 10 minutes for all other
categories.Entries exceeding these time limits will be disqualified.
- Each entry must be accompanied by an official entry form (submitted electronically/
mailed or faxed to us).
- Entries will be judged by communication professionals using the following criteria:
Quality of research and preparation
Quality of writing
Quality of acting and delivery
Quality of production values (music, sound effects, other)
Quality of recording
Originality and creativity
Professionalism appropriate to the age group
Suitability of the subject matter for statewide broadcast
