A Multicurricular Activity
Sound~Waves is an activity that teachers can integrate into a range of curricula.
For instance, writing and performing an original work or adaptation might make for an
interesting language arts project. Producing a documentary or dramatizing a significant
event could be woven into a social studies or science curriculum. Creating and performing an operetta could integrate elements of music education and language arts. There is also
a category for public service announcements, (PSA).
Plus, parents and teachers can be involved in the fun as a sponsoring adult.
