The Road to Mt. Rushmore

This lesson explores the movement of people into the
far west and the development of mining, ranching, and agriculture. Duncan, Izzy and Izzy's grandmother travel through the Badlands and meet Joseph American Horse, who tells them about life on the plains for the Sioux
before and after the Europeans moved west.
