imovie comes bundled with a sound effects library too! While in your imovie project select the Media tab and then the audio tab. There you will find many fun sound effects to incorporate into your project. Listed below are a few audio links. Included are "copyright free" sound effects, music, and free audio sweetening software.

Freesounds - The Freesound Project has a huge collaborative database of audio snippets, samples, recordings, bleeps, ... released under the Creative Commons Sampling Plus License.
